Purchasing on Our Site
When you place an order to purchase a product from www.tweedinthevalley.com we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us only when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we’ve dispatched that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send this dispatch confirmation email to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a dispatch confirmation email as having been dispatched do not form part of that contract.
Returns & Refunds
All customers in the European Union are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of 14 business days, calculated from the date of receipt by you of the products. This means that you must inform us (using the method of communication we designate) within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel the contract. You must then return the products to us within a further 14 days.
Please review our Deliveries & Returns Policy [link] which applies to products purchased from us. In accordance with our Delivery & Returns Policy, and in addition and without prejudice to your cooling-off rights, our policy is that returns must be made to us within 30 days of purchase.
We are happy to exchange or offer a credit note on unsuitable goods returned to us, unused or unworn, within 30 days of purchase, as long as you include your proof of purchase. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Pricing & Availability
We try to keep only available products listed on our website and if unavailable will state this but as products are handmade and of high quality we may not have that product available due to fabric problems or high order volumes. Beyond what we say on that page or otherwise on our site, we cannot be more specific about availability. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by email if any products you order turn out to be unavailable and a full refund will be given.
Customs
When ordering goods from our site for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. The products on our site Tweedinthevalley.com.com are handmade and of high standard and we to our best ability will dispatch, respond or contact in a timely manner and within the given timeframe. If on occasion we are behind we will notify the customer and give additional information but cannot be held liable if products are damaged in post or on delivery, nor if we cannot meet the order. Where we cannot meet the order a full refund will be given.
